Jeff Malcolm, one of the keys to Yale's NCAA championship in April, signed a deal with the Hartford Wolf Pack (formerly the Connecticut Whale) of the AHL.

Malcolm pitched a shutout over Quinnipiac in the Frozen Four title game, also his 24th birthday.
