Jim Shelton, a colleague at the New Haven Register, and I have written a book. "Hockey Haven: How Yale and Quinnipiac made it to the top of the college game" chronicles the 2013 season. It gives the back story behind how each team built their program and assembled the rosters of the two best teams in college hockey this past season.

The book also has oodles of incredible photos from Register photographer Peter Casolino, who was with me in Pittsburgh to shoot the action.
