ALBANY, N.Y. -- ECAC Hockey today announced that Quinnipiac junior forward Russell Goodman has been assessed a one-game suspension, in accordance with the League’s supplemental discipline process, as the result of his actions in the Quinnipiac at Clarkson contest Saturday, February 11 at Cheel Arena.

The League action was taken after review of a cross-checking incident that occurred at the 16:14 mark of the third period in the Bobcats-Golden Knights contest. Moments prior to the incident Goodman was assessed a major penalty and game disqualification penalty for contact to the
head. The disqualification is his second of the season; thus, per NCAA ice hockey Rule 4, Section 5b he automatically receives a two-game suspension.

Goodman is now not eligible to compete in Quinnipiac’s next three games Friday, February 17 when the Bobcats travel to Rensselaer, Saturday, February 18 in the Bobcats versus Union contest, and Friday, February 24 when the Bobcats host Brown.
