Jason Guerriero has been targeted by Yale coach Keith Allain as the newest member of the Bulldogs' coaching staff, according to a source. He will replace Red Gendron, named head coach at Maine last month, pending background checks and salary negotiations.
Guerriero, 32, spent the past two seasons as an assistant at Holy Cross. He was an All-American center at Northeastern in 2005, and spent time with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers and Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League. He also played professionally in Europe before being hired by Paul Pearl at Holy Cross in the fall of 2011.
